There are many beautiful and glamorous islands in the world which can serve as travel destinations. Then I will introduce some of those charming islands to you.
Great blue hole in Belize
Great blue hole is situated on lighthouse reef in Venezuela. It is a vertical cave. There are many blue holes in the world, but none of them can compared with this one in Belize. It is about 984 miles in diameter and 410 miles in depth. Thus it is the biggest underwater cave in the world. It is a miracle made by nature. The cave is deep enough to make seawater inside look like deep blue in color. And this is how it got its name. Now, it has become the world-renowned dining place.
Bora Bora Island
Bora Bora island, which situates on the south pacific ocean, is part of the Society Islands French Polynesia. About 7 millions years ago, there existed a dead volcano here. Around the sunk volcano there formed a circle of coral reef. If you take a bird view of this island, you can see the Lagoon is in a color of fantastic blue. In Lagoon there are hundreds of tropical fish. The most famous view of Bora Bora island is its sandy-beach.
Tahiti Island
Just like Bora bora island, Tahiti island is the biggest island of Society Islands French Polynesia. It situates on the southern pacific ocean together with 35 islands and 83 reef atoll and here is a place between Australia and south America. Tahiti has many mountainous inland, deep valleys, clear streams and high waterfall. Most of the population live along the coast.
