How to Save Money on Florida's Disney Holiday Tickets and Hotels

Walt Disney World Resort has got to be one of the best Holiday adventures in the world today. I have to admit, I love it!, and at 40 years old with no kids, I enjoyed it as much as a 10 year old who loves Disney!

So what is so special about the Walt Disney World Resort anyway? Well there is just so much to do in so little time it is INCREDIBLE! The reason I am writing this article, is to give the reader not only a little taster of what to expect, more importantly how you can make value savings to make your vacation an absolutely fantastic one.

Disney has four theme parks, two water parks, twenty-three themed hotels and a fleet of 12 monorails also operate at Walt Disney World Resort linking the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, the Contemporary, Polynesian, and Grand Floridian resorts together.

When I first Flew into Disney from the UK, many, many years ago, the only information you could get was from High street travel agents, who more or less had a monopoly on where and when you could stay, tickets for the parks at extortionate prices, high priced Hotels, high price flights etc.
Nowadays though, things have changed dramatically, the World Wide Web has made getting hold of Disney tickets, booking Disney Hotels a doddle, God save the WWW!

Anyway, moving on, it has never been as easy, as it is today, to fit a Disney Resort trip around you and not Vice Versa! Still, even with all the information out there, (perhaps to much now!), plowing through all the websites, still leaves you wondering if you actually are getting the best deal!

Flights and hotel packages or separate flights and hotel bookings, Disney ticket Costs Alone can be enormous for say, a family of four, hotels with high and low price seasons when visiting Orlando and Disney World can be a daunting task to wade through, also dining can be expensive at the major resorts.

All of these things, and more, have to be taken into account when you go and book your holiday. When I first went to Disney, (just the two of us), our total package for 2 weeks was nearly £3,850, (over $5,000 dollars), at the time it was considered cheap!

Now it probably costs about the same for a family of four or five as i paid for two, but hey, Its still going to cost a bundle if you don't BUDGET properly, and make those all important savings on things, such as getting discounts on 5, 7 and 10 day park hopper Ticket Upgrades - The ins and outs of exchanging or upgrading your Disney tickets. When does it make sense - and when will it actually cost you money?
